This is a go-to meal in our family — it’s insanely easy, super versatile, and the whole family loves it.
Ingredients
- A couple pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- A jar of salsa verde
- Some oregano, garlic powder, and cumin (call it a teaspoon of the first two and 1/4 teaspoon of cumin)
Instructions
- Place the chicken in a slow cooker and add spices; toss to combine.
- Pour salsa verde over the top, stir, cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Shred with two forks and drain some of the juices.
- Serve as a filler for tacos, on top of salads, or with rice.
